This project aims to address growing concerns around personal data privacy by developing a cloud-based system that enables users to access popular digital services without exposing their real personal data. By generating realistic virtual profiles using synthetic information such as randomized identities, GPS-based patterns, and network attributes, the proposed application allows individuals to benefit from services like navigation and social platforms while maintaining control over their true data. Conducted collaboratively between Middle East Technical University campuses in Ankara and Northern Cyprus, the project will design and implement scalable cloud-based sensing and analytics frameworks across multiple phases, including system training, data acquisition, communication protocol development, and application interface design. Ultimately, the project seeks to empower users with informational self-determination, enhance secure and efficient use of cloud resources, and contribute to advancing research and innovation capacity in cloud computing and mobile sensing technologies.
