Abstract

the integration of renewable energy resources into our lives is vital for achieving a sustainable energy development. Renewable energy generation is undoubtedly an effective alternative for conventional electrical energy generation techniques, which are one of the key contributions for the emission of greenhouse gases. However, the introduction of renewable energy sources into the power grid is associated with significant costs. Here, an optimal localization and sizing of solar photovoltaic power generation plants in a power network are analyzed. Genetic algorithms are used to solve the optimization problem.
