Kemal Maşera has completed his PhD in 2019 at Aston University in mechanical engineering. He worked as Teaching fellow and participated in a UKIERI waste to engine project in the same university. Then he joined Brunel University London as a Research Fellow and participated in an EU funded project which was about solar thermal application to industrial processes. He also has significant experience in energy consultancy for commercial buildings and industrial processes in UK. He has extensive experience in providing Energy Audits for ESOS and Decarbonisation (EN 16247), and Energy Management (ISO 50001) projects for local and globally known companies such as McLaren and AstraZeneca. He is now teaching thermodynamics, heat transfer and renewable energy related subjects at METU NCC. His academic and industrial experience includes modelling and analysis of renewable energy systems, biofuels, low carbon technologies and thermofluid science.
