Dr. Muhammad Sohail is an Instructor (Dr.) in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Program at Middle East Technical University Northern Cyprus Campus. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Eastern Mediterranean University, Famagusta, Northern Cyprus.
Dr. Sohail’s research lies in the field of applied electromagnetics and antenna engineering, with a particular focus on advanced antenna systems for emerging technologies. His work primarily explores antennas for biomedical applications, near-field beam focusing and steering techniques, wireless power transfer, and the development of transparent antennas for next-generation communication systems. His research aims to bridge theoretical electromagnetic/antenna concepts with practical engineering solutions, particularly in the areas of wireless power transfer, implantable medical devices, and innovative antenna structures.
